Force-Steer Axles
Our in-line king pin Force-Steer axles have been in production for many years and have grown in popularity thanks to their versatile and robust design. They are well suited to heavy duty applications and are rated for 25,000 lb and 30,000 lb. They are commonly used on steer dollies, trailers, and mobile equipment.
Our Force-Steer axles are capable of steering up to 45° in both directions and have an optional steer lock. We have been installing an optional hydraulic cylinder on our axles for some time, allowing customers to integrate their own steering systems. We now also offer our Force-Steer axles complete with various types of steering systems for single and multi-axle applications.
The core components on our Force-Steer axles are manufactured from a proprietary, heat treated alloy steel. This gives our axles the highest impact values for a wide range of operating temperatures in the industry.
Kingpin diameter is 2-1/2″ making it the largest and strongest in the industry. Kingpins come standard precision machined with internal greasing channels that provide superior grease dispersion for maximum kingpin and bushing life.
Our in-line king pin Force-Steer axles are designed to North American standards, which allows for a simple rebuild of wearable components from commonly available parts .
The axles are engineered to work with most suspensions, various brake sizes, single and dual tire applications, and optional track widths up to 200 inches, or wider.
