Self-Steer Axles
We have been manufacturing leading king pin Self-Steer axles for over 35 years. These are heavy duty axles rated for 20,000 lb to 30,000 lb applications.
The core components on our Self-Steer axles are manufactured from a proprietary, military-grade quenched and tempered alloy steel. This gives our axles the highest impact values for a wide range of operating temperatures in the industry.
We design our Self-Steer axles to North American standards, which allows for a simple rebuild from commonly available parts for wearable components.
The axles are engineered to work with most suspensions, various brake sizes, single and dual tire applications, and optional track widths of up to 200 inches or more. And now our Self-Steer axles have disk brakes available as well, using calipers from all leading manufacturers
The steer angles are adjustable and our Self-Steer axles have air-operated steer locks. Drop center beams are available along with two damper systems: spring shock or air damper. The spring shock has virtually no maintenance and is easily replaced, while the air damper system provides adjustable dampening pressure with constant resistance when installed and set properly for the application.
